The 39th Annual People's Choice Awards

Last night the 39th annual People's Choice Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. I was surprised at the lack of stars who made the effort to show up at the event, as it only seemed like the winners were there. I also felt the red carpet appearances were a bit lacklustre but here are the three looks that I loved on the night:

Taylor Swift

Dressed in Ralph Lauren

Gone are teh days of Taylor Swift in high school prom gowns. The young singer brings sex appeal to the red carpet with this low cut white gown matched with a all grown up hair style and sultry, smoky eyes. Possibly one of my favourite looks of Taylor.

Rumer Willis

Dressed in Alice and Olivia

I am in love with this dress. I had never heard of the label so I went to check it out and realised I could not afford any of it, but apart from that I still love this dress. The messy updo keeps the dress from being too overwhelming and is matched perfectly with the metallic clutch.

Lea Michelle

Dressed in Elie Saab

I know that this dress was put on a lot of worst dressed lists but I am going against the packs of fashion writers by stating that I thought Lea Michelle looked really good. I am probably a bit bias as the dress is by my favourite designer, but I just love how it is so bright and fun and who doesn't love sparkle?
